Tell me. What does someone's washing machine breaking down have to do with saving a life?

Welp, I went to put in a quick load of clothes only to find out my washer stopped working. Soooo... I gathered up my laundry and headed off to the
laundromat. As my clothes washed I started reading. There was a young woman there also washing who seemed bent on talking. Therefore, I laid my reading aside to give her my full attention which was to allow her, (Ericka) to vent.
Ericka was not a kid. But was rather a striking young woman who held a professional position downtown at the bank. As we did laundry she shared with me and it was quite evident that she was very angry with her boyfriend. So much so, that prior to us meeting, she had already set fire to all his clothes he had at her place. To add fuel to the fire she was pregnant by him and shared with me her intention to abort their unborn baby and going on with her life.
Long story short, we ended up exchanging numbers and she allowed me to visit with her at her apartment after a few phone conversations. In the meantime, I had been praying about her and her future plans knowing that God had the ability change her heart and to alter her course. During one of the visits she was open to hearing about what I had to share concerning the ways of the Lord Jesus Christ and she was open to attending church with me. During the course of time God softened her heart and she decided she would not abort her baby as she had initally adamently planned prior to our meeting.
I know that God spared her son's life because he had specific purpose for him in the earth. The fact is, God has purpose for each of our lives.
I will never forget the morning that she (with baby in arms) went up to the altar to receive prayer as I stood there alongside them reflecting back on the day we met and "what could have been." A providential meeting that began because of my broke down washing machine....shaking my head. To God be the Glory!
