Their van was parked out in front of the church and as I stepped into the van, there was the young man sweating, breathing fast, and holding his bloody leg in the corner of the van. I asked God for wisdom, then acted quickly praying over him. Next, I urged her to drive him to the hospital without further delay for treatment since it was apparent that he was losing blood from the hit.
In follow-up. I learned the young man was becoming open to church and most of all the things of the Lord. Unfortunately, far too many times it takes drastic circumstances before some will heed and become receptive and obedient to the draw of our heavenly Father.
It wasn’t Pierre’s time to go out like that. It was clear that God shielded him from the enemy’s violent attack which the bible says is to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10) and yet God granted him spiritual intervention and grace in his hour of need.
People of God be ready and let God use YOU to act in a world where the unexpected and suddenly often occur and you may have to respond with faith in God at a moment's notice. To God be the Glory!
