When cancer shows up

I learned about a co-worker of one of my relatives, also a believer in Christ, who felt a lump in or near her breast. Anxious and frightened she shared her concern with my relative who immediately urged her to call her doctor for an examination. She called right there from her work desk and got in within a few hours. Upon her examination she received bad news, she had breast cancer at an advanced stage. She returned to her job I was told crying, in disbelief, and absolutely devastated. So my relative began praying with and for her.
Because me and my relative often prayed together and made intercession on many matters, she shared the young lady's diagnosis with me and asked if I would intercede for her as well, so I did.
It was during my time of prayer and intercession on her behalf that the Holy Spirit spontaneously prompted me to do something I had never done before, or since. I asked my relative to bring my sister in Christ my prayer shawl. The prayer shawl was given to me by a pastor who had travelled to Israel on a mission trip and brought it back to the states and years later was Spirit led to give it to me the day of my unexpected spontaneous ministry ordination during a public prayer conference. Beloved, I don't know about you. But in my walk with Christ, he at times acts, speaks, and gives me unplanned, not on the agenda spontaneous instructions.
That said, my family member brought the prayer shawl to her as I asked, along with specific instructions I had written for the young lady to follow on how she was to use it, as well as how to not use it. The shawl would be used as a tangible spiritual supplement alongside her regular cancer medical treatments. In her case, she was to use it as a bed covering as she slept. I prayed over it and anointed it with holy oil. Trusting God would answer our joint prayers and do the rest, and soak, grace, and cover her with his healing touch as she slept. She'd also have something to physically cling to during the dark midnight hours when demonic voices often strikes and invade our thoughts.
Folks, we have to come to an understanding that God uses any means, even if it's out of the normal or ordinary, to accomplish his purposes in our lives, as well as in the lives of others. So don't be afraid to step out and to act on what the Holy Spirit prompts you to do.
Now for the Good News! I learned that in the process of time after many rounds of medical treatments including loss of hair. That she ultimately received a GOOD REPORT!
GOD HEALED HER and she was medically pronounced CANCER FREE!!
PS: I had the opportunity about two years ago to meet the young lady in person at a restaurant. Her haired was full and beautiful, she was glowing and indeed restored. She was healed and cancer free! Praise God! To God be the Glory! I'm reminded of Jeremiah 17:14(a) that says, "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed."
If my ministry can offer you prayer relating to cancer or any other matter please connect with my work. I'd be more that happy to join with you and believe with you in prayer.
